Shiny Companions

I do like them so. They're ever so shiny.

These are my Kittens Fu - one black Sedavion kitten, one gray Malakai kitten, and one Elusa-bunny kitten. They are all obscenely cute, much to the delight of my digital camera. I will always adore them. With the adoration. This is my Liz. She is wonderfully adorable and coolly analytical in turns. A lover of penguins and a notorious gaming fiend, Liz can often be found crafting many many pretty things.
This is my Danielle , looking breathtakingly haughty. She is a culinary genius, a lover of good brains, and a connoisseur of head scritches. Very, very shiny is The Lady of Tigers. This is my Kate (aka Sordid McPoppins). She is full of vindinctive pleasures and love and general silliness of speech. Also, she is inordinately fond of cleaning things, which does my OCD-ish heart no end of good.
Raven is a mistress of routers, cyberninja, and world traveler. She knows tons and tons of shiny things. Whips and green tea are her friends. RavenBlack is a programming fiend, pure and simple. Actually, he may just be a fiend, not so pure and not so simple. He also excels at many, many games and has the disarming tendency to moo in an exceedingly cute manner at indeterminant intervals.
This is my Joshua-Monkey (aka Sweetie McFly), looking exceptionally dashing in a Utilikilt. He's naughty. Very, very naughty. He also plays ping pong ridiculously well, runs fearlessly in the night, flies gleefully through the air, and is a delightful cuddle beast. Here is the warlord Paris. He is brilliantly creative, creatively brilliant, and full of the best sort of evil. Also, he makes a truly excellent pillow. And he has a voice like butterscotch.
This is the current stand-in for Garreth, an elusive master of Let's Pretend with eclectic taste, beautiful romanticism, and the ability of knowing just what words to offer. This is Foxe with a Malakai kitten. His blood is the Sea. Beyond that, he plays violin, tennis, and ping pong; speaks German beautifully, dances divinely, and makes horrific puns. He often brings much laughter with him.
This is a Jesse. One of the other few female comp sci majors with me during my undergrad years, she swing dances, snaps many, many pictures, and wanders merrily around places weaving headbands from leaves. This is Ross. He is full of laughter, linguistics, and wickedly good strategic skills. If you create a game with made-up rules that only you know, he will still win it. Really. He's that good.
This is Alan. Like Julia, he is cute. Very cute. And extraordinarily huggable. This is the current stand-in for Ransom, a fabulously brilliant reader of tarot, writer of clever things, and savorer of chocolate in all its many-splendored forms. One can often find a Ransom playing with kittens fu and carrying a wide assortment of interesting games, books, and movies about his person for instant entertainment gratification.
This is one Mr. Don, with his classically roguish smile, suave demeanor, and smooth voice. Hypnotically graceful on the dance floor, he also has a salacious wink. Those who refuse his offer of a dance are simply cretins. My irresistibly cute former roommate Julia - a bassoon performance major, avid club dancer, and jogger extraordinaire. Nicknamed Cuteness for obvious reasons, you can find more irresistibly wonderful pictures of her here.
John is a fellow computer science geek who specializes in making networks do strange and marvelous things. He is also devastatingly pretty, though he won't believe you if you tell him. This is Kitten. He has lovely long hair, sharp pointy teeth, and a remarkable penchant for being scritched.
This is a Rachel. She's distractingly cute, has uncounted hidden piercings, and can pole-dance with the best. Brightly colored fishnets are her friends. Hurrah for fishnets! Cait is my mental twin. [Scary, that.] Both Labyrinth fiends, the Random Blonde Presence is our friend. Not to mention rampant sarcasm accompanied with dark swiss chocolate. Mmmm...caffeine....see more oddness here.
George is one of the Dark Princes of the dance floor with the grace of cat, though he'll deny it if you ask. He is undisputably gorgeous. We like George. Trigo is a happy Israeli computer science cybergeek with a decided penchant for finding things out. Many things. Many, many things. Things best left buried in the back of old yearbooks. He looks quite good in a french braid.

Okay, time to return.
